This Privacy Policy is prepared by Economic Mind AS (“Economic Mind”, “we”, “us”) to inform you about how we process personal data and to enable you to exercise your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and applicable Norwegian data protection legislation.

2. Personal data we process and why

We process personal data about users and customer contacts, including contact details, professional information, and usage data, for the following purposes:

Providing the service. We process personal data to provide the platform, including authentication, access control, and technical monitoring. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6.1.b) and legitimate interests (Art. 6.1.f).

Product analytics. We analyse how users interact with the platform to improve features and identify friction. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6.1.f).

Customer success and support. We process personal data to onboard users, provide support, and maintain customer relationships. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6.1.b).

Invoicing and accounting. We process contact and billing details to issue invoices and comply with Norwegian bookkeeping law. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6.1.b) and legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c).

Marketing communications. We process personal data to send product updates and relevant news to users and customer contacts. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a). You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.

3. Where we collect data from

We collect personal data directly from you when you sign up, use the platform, or contact us. Usage and technical data is collected automatically through your interaction with the service. Contact details for sales and marketing may also be obtained from publicly available sources.

4. Sub-processors

We share personal data with third-party service providers acting as data processors on our behalf. A current list is maintained at economicmind.com/sub-processors. We have entered into data processing agreements with all sub-processors.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication and session management, and analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings.

6. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting security@economicmind.com.

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact security@economicmind.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
