MCP Server Documentation
Overview
The Economic Mind MCP server gives Claude access to verified market intelligence for 10,000 markets globally. Ask Claude natural language questions about market size, segmentation, trends, forecasting, competitive dynamics and key players, and get answers grounded in sourced data with explicit assumptions.
Every data point is tied to the underlying analysis and sources, so you can always trace a number back to where it came from.
Available Tools
Claude selects and sequences these tools automatically, so you do not call them directly. All tools are read-only.
Search Markets
Finds market reports in the Economic Mind library by topic and geography. For each match, you get the market name, definition, and key facts (size, forecast, top players, segmentation, etc.), as well as an overview of our analyses and sources for that market. This is usually the first step, since your LLM uses it to identify the right market before reading it in full.
Get Market
Opens a specific market analysis or perspective. The document typically includes a definition, key findings, and comprehensive documentation of the underlying analysis. For example, it may present a bottom-up analysis of suppliers for a product or service in a region, anchored in reported financials, corporate communications, and other sources. Use it after Search Markets has identified the market you want to explore.
Search Companies
Finds companies in the Economic Mind index by name or description. For each match, you get the company name, a short summary, its headquarters location, and a relevance score showing how closely it fits your query. This is usually the first step, since your LLM uses it to identify the right company before pulling its financials.
Get Company Financials
Returns annual profit and loss (P&L) figures for one or more companies. Covers up to 14 line items, including revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, EBITDA, EBIT, net income, free cash flow, and tax, for any years between 2000 and 2025. Figures can be reported in several major currencies, and each number traces back to its original source.
